Ranjeeta Priyadarshini is a change maker as well as a Social Entrepreneur. She Left her Job and Started

Engineer and a HR Welfare officer now turned to be a Lawyer.

She is the petitioner and campaign founder of #paid period leave for all women workers of India . The
fact that this has come in to being is basically a result of not only Ranjeeta's personal and unavoidable

Till now in this campaign , she has received useful support from more than 33 international
organisations. Her story has been covered by almost all the reputed National as well as State Media like
print, electronic as well as digital. She has had no shortage of appreciation and accolades that have been
pouring in regularly through various sources from around the globe.
She is also the founder of MAHILA VAKIL which extends legal aid to all women who can't afford the
necessary charges of long run legal procedures.She is also the Campaign founder and Petitioner of Gender Equality in the police Force. In this
Campaign she has been demanding Equality of Gender in Police Department as well as for the
recruitment of Transgenders in the Department. The seed of this idea came to Ranjeeta's mind by
observing and learning of the fact that even in the police stations various types ill treatment is often
meted out to the inmates particularly women while they are there. So as a natural consequence
Ranjeeta felt strongly about it and hence rose the need to necessarily have women Police Personnel in
all the Police Stations and the other relevant sections of the Department.
Fortunately on June 12, 2021 the Hon’ble Chief Minister initiated the process whereby
Transgender recruitment would become a reality in the Police Department of the State.
She gives free coaching classes for the needy persons who are preparing themselves for the Police Sub
inspector and constable exams.
She is the 1st person of Odisha who helped the 1st Visually Impaired OAS Officer Sannyashi Behera in
Gopabandhu Academy of Administration. Earlier and even now also whenever any visually impaired
persons need her help she happily helps them without any expectations of return favour.
Incidentally,on one occasion Ranjeeta sacrifices her own exam which was being held simultaneously
with that of a visually impaired girl who was not able to get a writer and hence was being restraint by
the university authorities to seat for the exam. So as the result of Ranjeeta sitting for the exam of the
particular girl who do not give her own exam and hence filled it .
She is the 1st person for whom, the people of Samadapadar village of Nuapada District were able to get
the benefit of having Electric Connections after seven decades of India's Independence. In order that
this could become reality, Ranjeeta had to sell out her two wheeler Scooty, Ear Rings as well as all the
pocket money of the passed few years that she had painstackingly saved .She worked with Nobel Laureate Kailash Satyarthi in "100 million for 100"campaign as a Nodal Officer
from Odisha.
Director Abinash Padhan made a Documentary Film on her story which is titled "Lighting Their Dream"
which has been selected and screened in the Russia film festival, Miami film festival, Inshort film festival
Nigeria and many other international Platforms.
India Discover also made a Documentary Film on her called "Ranjeeta: The Leader."
She has also got appreciation from many other International and National organizations and individuals
like UNFPA, UNICEF, Women Trust Zimbabwe, Change.org, IFTDO Nigeria, Global South Coalition on
Dignified Menstruation Kathmandu, KGS LEO Club Kenya, Jinja Models Uganda, ICRW Washington and
Period Magazine Netherland , Shameless Periods Canada .
On the time of Covid Pandemic she helped more than 6000 People (Labour, Needy Women, Children,
farmers) of Odisha, Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, kerala, Andhra pradesh, Telangana, Bihar, Chhatisgarh,
west bengal as well as Maharashtra by giving and arranging food,oxygen cylinders, beds for hospital as
well as Liposomal Amphotericin Injections .
Starting from 2015 she has always been doing events related to Sambalpuri Culture like Nuakhai
Bhetghat, Puspuni Bhet and Sambalpuri Day.
In 2017 she was felicitated by the District Disable Officer of Bhubaneswar for helping the 1st visually
impaired OAS officer during his training period in Gopabandhu Academy of Administration.
In 2019 she was felicitated by Padmashree Haldhara Nag for promoting Sambalpuri Culture both at the
State and National levels.
In 2019 she was felicitated by She Create Change in Bhubaneswar as a "Change Hero."
In 2020 on Women's Day she was felicitated by Radio Gunjan for her social work activities in Odisha.
On 1st August 2021 she was felicitated by villagers of Manapada as "Jagat Jeeta Samman" for doing
exemplary works for the betterment of society.
On 26th September 2021 she was felicitated in state level programme as an "Unsung Hero Of Covid" for
devoting her time and efforts towards social work in Bhubaneswar by the Honable MLA of Jatani Mr.
Sura Routray.
On the 125th Birth Anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose she was felicitated at the National level
programme which was held in New Delhi for her excellence in social work by the Vice Chief Of Indian
Army on the 7th of November 2021.
On 12th December 2021 she was also felicitated by the Vice chancellor of NISER in Bhubaneswar in the
Category of " Naari Surakhya Samman."
In Jan 2022 she was felicitated by Hon. Governor of West Bengal as "Shramik Bondhu".
The renowned writer Pradyumna Bishi wrote a book on Ranjeeta's Achievements that is "Ranjeeta
Prerna Ra Utsa".On 12th March ,2022 she was felicitated in Max Tower Noida as an HR Humanitarian Professional . On 11th April 2022 she was felicitated in Puri for "Amazing Personality" for Women Empowerment by
the Additional Chief Secretary IAS Pradeep Jena and Puri Collector IAS Samartha Verma.
On 1st May 2022 she was felicitated in New Delhi by the International Athlete Deepa Mallick and
Director of Women and child development IAS Rashmi Singh as the title "Naari Shakti Samman 2022."
From 19th May to 21st May she was the Delegates from India (Odisha and Chhattisgarh) in the 49th
IFTDO World conference 2022 in Vigyan Bhawan and Hotel Le Meridien New Delhi.
On 22nd May she was felicitated by the Doordarshan Director and Deputy Director Backward Welfare
Department in Lajpat Bhawan Auditorium as "Inspiring Indian Award 2022."
On 25th June 2022 she was felicitated by the Deputy Director of Information and Broadcasting IAS
Manoj Dwivedy in Constitution Club of India as "Shramik Saathi."
On 2nd July 2022 she got the first support from Bollywood and got the opportunity to meet Mr.
Sandeep Marwah in his office in Noida Film City who is the Indian film Producer, Director, Brother in
law of Anil Kapoor, Founder of Asian Academy of Film and Television and Chairman of the Advisory
Committee of Miss Earth India .
On 5th July 2022 Ranjeeta's 1st interview in Radio Noida 107.4 FM was broadcast for that she received a
lot of appreciation in National Level.
On 31st July 2022 Ranjeeta got felicitated from Hon’ble Cabinet Minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas ,
Govt. Of Rajasthan and Dr. Jacinta Dsilva , Director of RSISTRE ,Dubai and by the Chief Patron of Saksham
Ngo in Jaipur , Rajasthan as Inspiring Face for Exceptional Work for Women Empowerment in National
Level .

On Dt. 16th September 2022 she got a call from Union Minister Of State For Commerce and Industry
Govt of India and On 19th September Ranjeeta met Hon’ble Minister Anupriya Patel ji and request
Madam to implement Paid Period Leave in All the Industry in India so that women employees get
benefitted .
On Dt. 12 November 2022 Ranjeeta received National HR Excellence Award for Social Impact in Max
Tower Noida which was Organized by NTPC , IOCL and HR India for Paid Period Leave for all women
Workers in India .
On Dt. 26th November 2022 Ranjeeta received the Award for Nav Shakti Award at ITM Gida ,
Gorakhpur which was Organized by Indo European Chamber Of Small and Medium Enterprises .
On Dt. 17/12/2022 she was the Speaker and Guest Of Honour in Jawahar Navodaya School in Shivpuri ,
Madhya Pradesh for paid period leave in National Level .
On Dt. 12th March 2023 On the occasion of International Women's Day , Ranjeeta represent
Chhattisgarh in National Women's Parliament 2023 and received National Women's Excellence Award
2023 in Maharashtra Sadan New Delhi .

On the occasion of International Women’s day March 8, 2024 Ranjeeta got felicitated in “Viswa Guru
Bharat Women Dignity Ceremony 2024” which is organized by Indo-European chamber of small and
medium enterprises , Kisan yatra Sandesh and IECSME Kamdhenu chair in Constitutional club of India
New Delhi.
On 9th March, 2024 a list of top 10 most inspiring women was published by “Midday Newspaper” from
Mumbai wherein Ranjeeta Priyadarshini was also given a spot.
She is working for the all-round development of Women, Children as well as for the Rural Folk.
Since last 15 years she has helped more than 20,000 people individually as well as with the help of
many Government Personnel, different Professional Experts, Members of Parliament, Members of
Legislative Assembly as well as various NGOs.
